We'd love to hear from you.  Hope you enjoy the music.

Played the first gig of the summer at Wilson Winery on Friday, May 4.  Had a great time.  John Hoyt was in town, so he joined Ric and me.  A Great Divide reunion show.  We played like we'd never been apart.  John's back in Connecticut now, but Ric & I will be playing at the winery most Friday nights through the end of September.  Come out & hear us.  We'd love to see you.

Here is a picture from the gig last Friday.

Starting to gear up & plan for summertime gigs.  The BYOM (Bring Your Own Meat) gigs on most Friday evenings at Wilson Winery will be starting on May 4th.  See the calendar page for details.  Hope to see you there.

Want a free MP3 of my new song, "Coyote Calls"?  Sign up for my email list.  Don't worry; I won't spam you.  I seldom send out emails - only once a month or so usually.  Just send them to let you know when I'm playing live or when I have some music news.  So sign up & I'll email you a free MP3.

We just uploaded a brand new song for listening on-line.  It is not on Ron's CD.   In fact, he just finished it yesterday.  The song is called "Coyote Calls."  Music by Ron Beach; lyrics by Sue Beach.  All performances by Ron Beach.

So what do you think?  Like it?

Hello everyone.

Just a quick note.  Ron has been busy working on some tunes for a friend and is now working on getting some of our new tunes recorded.  "The River Man" and "Coyote Calls" are both almost finished.  We may go ahead and post one of the new ones to the website for friends to listen to.  We will let you know when we do.

I've just been in winter-time mode - pretty quiet and waiting impatiently for spring.  Planted lettuce the other day.  Now it is cold again.

Hope everyone is well.

Sue

I just posted on-line the final tune - "Your Tears" -from my CD "Surfing in the Dark."  You can listen to it on my website at RonBeach.net; it is on the Music page with lyrics or you can just play it in the music player at the bottom of the page.

Also left up the title tune that we posted a week or so ago, so right now there are 2 tunes you can listen to.

Hope everyone is well.

Ron & I try to have one night a week dedicated to working on our music.  We have been pretty lax about that schedule since releasing "Surfing In The Dark," but got back to it a couple of weeks ago.

The title track from Ron's cd, "Surfing in the Dark," is now on the website for listening.  Hope everyone is enjoying being able to hear the tunes.  There is one more after this.  We appreciate your feed back and comments, so please send them our way.

We've been working on another batch of tunes.  We have six or seven right now that are very close to being ready to record.  Stay tuned for updates & maybe even some 'previews' as we get them done.

Ron & I have been a bit slow about putting up tunes over the holidays.  But finally, we are catching up and so here is the next song from his cd.  This one is "Lullaby" and it is one of my favorites.  As always, you can just click the Audio Player at the bottom of the page to listen or you can go to the "Music" section and listen while reading the lyrics.  As always, we'd love some feedback on the song, the website, the cd, etc.

As we enter "the long dark of Moriah" (also known as January & February in Indiana), Ron & I have been busy with projects that we have put off for ages.  Ron has been reviewing, practicing, editing, and updating his book of songs that he performs solo.  He is about done with that project and then he hopes to start his next recording project.  Not sure what shape that will take, but we will keep you informed as things progress.

In the meantime, enjoy "Lullaby."  We promise to try and get the final two songs up in a more timely manner.

We do still have a few copies left of the limited edition cds with the full-color 16 page booklet.  If you are interested, contact either Ron or me for a copy.  Once these first edition copies are gone, we don't plan to produce the booklet anymore, so get yours while you can.

Oh, and Happy New Year to you all!

Finally got the music file to upload.  "Make Me Believe" is now on the music page & in the audio player for your listening pleasure.

We have been trying to upload the next tune from Ron's cd, "Make Me Believe," onto the web site, but it just won't upload tonight.  Guess the Internet is too busy or our connection too slow.  Will try again tomorrow.

We fell a little behind (holidays, you know), but here is the next tune off of the CD, "No Time To Kill."  Lyrics are on the "Lyrics & Notes" page.  We'd love to hear what you think of the tune.

This is Ron's mom's favorite tune from the CD.

And here is a link to our electronic holiday card:

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

This week's tune from the new CD is "Champagne at Sunset."  You can listen to it through the audio player at the bottom of the page or go to the Music page to play it & read the lyrics.

We appreciate the feed back we've been getting and everyone's support of this project.

So this week, I've put up another tune from my cd.  This one is called "In The Gloaming."  Give it a listen & please, let us know what you think.  Your feedback is important to us. To listen, go to the audio player at the bottom of the web page.  To read the lyrics, go to the Lyrics page.

I've posted a new tune for listening.  This one is called "This Broken Heart."  You can just click on the audio player at the bottom of the page or go to the Music page to read the lyrics while you listen.  Let me know what you think.  Comments welcome.

Still getting lots of questions from people who haven't listened to my tunes.  The question is usually "What kind of music is it?"  I'm not sure that music has to be of a certain "kind."  But that is still the question many people ask.  So if any of you have thoughts about how I should answer this question, I'd appreciate your input.

Just put up "Summer Fields" for you to listen to.  Go to the Audio Player at the bottom of the page or to the Music page.  Lyrics & the photo from the CD booklet are on the Lyrics page.  Enjoy!

Last night, my CD showed up for download on ITunes & on Amazon.com MP3.  So there are a couple of other places to download the tunes.

Also, on the Lyrics & Notes section of this web site, we've added the lyrics to "Surfing In The Dark."  You can hear that whole tune through the music player on the site.

Next week, we will put up a different tune & its lyrics.

The actual CD package has arrived at the on line distributor, CDBaby.com.  To buy a copy, go to ronbeach.net, click on the store tab, and click on the Buy CD tab.

If you just go to CDBaby.com, you can just enter Ron Beach into the search box and the CD will pop up.  If you do this, you see that my music is listed as similar to Harry Chapin, Sting and Paul Simon.  Some pretty heavy company.  And my genres are Heartland rock, Folk rock and Lyrical in mood.  I would really appreciate some input on these.  If you have any suggestions of a famous artist you think sounds similar to my music or a take on a better descriptive genres I can change the listing.

The new cd is now available for download from CDBaby.com/cd/ronbeach.  They will have physical copies of the cd package for sale in a few days.  It will also eventually show up on Amazon.com and Itunes.  Not sure when that will happen.

The cd is for sale at Gordy Fine Art & Framing in Muncie or at the Farmland Art Coop in Farmland.  You can also order it directly from Ron.  Just contact him & he will arrange to get your copy to you.  They are $15 + $2 shipping if mailed.  The package includes a full-color 16 page booklet of lyrics with photographs by Sue Beach.

Just getting started on this new web site.  Hope to get more content on-line soon.  And we are working on setting up on-line purchasing for Ron's new cd, "Surfing In The Dark."  Check back soon for more!
